Braiding with Barbara: Janet Fitzgerald on Her Mother, Barbara Fisher

Barbara Fisher was an innovative and inspiring rug braider. Her detailed knowledge of braiding shapes led her to create intricate rugs with beautiful designs, and then make patterns of varying sizes. She is the holder of a copyright on "The Perfect Butt," and most of her rugs were butted in every row. She wrote, with her daughter, the book: Wool Rug Braiding with a Contemporary Flair. Her daughter Janet will tell us about her life and share photos of her beautiful rugs.
